The Glory Dome was the world’s largest church auditorium at inception and today it is number 3 in the world with the others all in Nigeria

The (Dunamis) Glory Dome-100, 000 Seating Capacity

We have not come to celebrate human expertise or the enormity of resources available to us. We have come to celebrate you our eternal source.
This is your doing.
Receive our thanks in the name of Jesus.
As this temple is dedicated to you today, may each one's life be truly dedicated to you for life.
Thank you.
We ascribe to you all the glory for the speed, for the supplies, for the expertise demonstrated by all the people that came in here. No accidents during construction, no deaths recorded, receive our thanks in the name of Jesus.
For making all our eyes that saw the beginning see the end, receive our thanks in the name of Jesus.
With these words, Bishop David Oyedepo dedicated the Glory Dome on
24th November 2018 in the presence of hundreds of thousands of Christians.

The Glory Dome was a first in many ramifications.
In September 1999, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche was present In Ota, Nigeria when Faith Tabernacle was dedicated. Again In July 2014, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) in Philippine completed the 55,000 capacity Philippine Arena and Dr Pastor Enenche again visited shortly before the commencement of work at the Glory Dome. The regular visits to Faith Tabernacle and the visit with his wife, Dr Pastor Mrs BeckyPaul Enenche to the Phillipine Arena must have served as some form of inspiration for the great work ahead.

Finally in November 2018, Some 19 years after the dedication of Faith Tabernacle, God’s Servants, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and his spiritual son from Orokam in Benue State, Pastor Paul Enenche dedicated the Glory Dome.
Others at the dedication were Pastor Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice President, President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Morris Cerrulo, Bishop David Abioye, Matthew Ashimolowo, David Ibiyeomie, Ntia Ntia and others.

Glory Dome is significant to the Kingdom of God and in particular to Nigeria and Africa specifically spiritually, economically, educationally, infrastructurally, financially, socially, architecturally and aesthetically.
The magnificent dome roof which alone cost about N2.5 billion ($7 million) sits atop the awe-inspiring Glory Dome.

This is an intricate engineering structure which was put together by coupling 21,800 pieces of metal fabrications together. Its parts were built by Geometrica in USA but assembled on site by Nigerians. The length of the building is about 300m.
The workers on site testified that they couldn’t explain what was going on as this could only have been God at work.

The structure was initially billed to take 75,000 and as construction went on, it was realized that it could hold up to 85,000 but with some adjustments factored in a few places, its capacity became 100,000.
The auditorium has no single visible pillar supporting it as the pillars are embedded in the walls while the beauty of the suspended doom roof is more obvious.
The Glory Dome is a view better beheld than explained.
Other facilities on the property are the secondary school, event center, the Garden, Housing Estate building prototype, streetlights and ringroad.

Inspite of the level of work that went on at the site, no single mention of ‘building offering’ was made in any of the 6 overflooded services at Area 1 on Sunday and on further inquiries from a worshipper at the Church, it was gathered that building offerings are never collected or requested during services except for Sunday 18th November 2018, a few days to dedication.
It will be recalled that on 14th September 2014, Bishop Oyedepo was invited for the groundbreaking ceremony of The The Lord’s Garden at Airport Road, Abuja.

From the start of the project in 2014, work was never halted for a day for ANY reason whatsoever and also went on day and night till completion.
Also gathered during construction was that workers were paid as at when due. Engineers, technicians, horticulturists, gardeners, welders, carpenters and infact everybody who worked at the same time were paid as at when due.

In 2021, Roberts Liardon, author of God's Generals was on hand to physically count the seats at the Glory Dome and confirmed it to be 100,000 seats.
The Glory Dome was the world’s largest church auditorium at inception and today it is number 3 in the world with the others all in Nigeria.
